What's New at IAFF 271
Local 271 Challenge coins
Local 271 was spurred on by the hosting of our 125th Annual Convention. Our union had not ever created a union coin and decided the time was right. The coin tells a story on each side, one for Local 271 and the other the Missoula Fire Department.  We've minted 200 coins and they are available for sale. The cost is $10 to union members and $20 for non-union members. Read More...

The recent Combat Challenge event hosting in Missoula was a huge success. Building upon last year's momentum, the event attendance was way up and the crowd were energized. Reminder: Most fireworks are illegal in the City of Missoula
The use of most fireworks in the city of Missoula is illegal, and City leaders are serious about enforcement. The Missoula City Council and Mayor John Engen have asked for vigorous enforcement in response to annual complaints from citizens. Missoula City Fire Fighter Combat Challenge - July 4th and 5th
 It doesn't get much more patriotic than this folks. Missoula City fire fighters will be hosting the Fire Fighter Combat Challenge for the 2nd year in a row. Montana Made Run raised over $2000 for IAFF Burn Foundation
Thanks to those who help and/or participated in the Montana Made Run 5K/10 and Donut Challenge. The Montana Made Run raised over $2000 for the IAFF Burn Foundation and also donated $300 to a girl who was burned in a fire over a Bend, OR a few weeks ago. This money will help her family pay for hotel rooms, meals, etc. when she was at the Burn Center. Read More...
